We are delighted to welcome Gas and Alba, one of Europe’s most renowned blues instructors, to Cologne! The two are among the most influential personalities on the blues dance scene – not only as performers, but also as inspiring teachers (not only blues, but also Lindy Hop and Balboa).
Alba, a passionate dancer with a strong stage presence, combines elegance and expression in an unmistakable way. Her movements are poetic, precise and deeply connected to the music. At the same time, she creates an atmosphere of openness and motivation in class, where everyone feels welcome.
Gas, with roots in Latin American music and a keen sense of body language, brings a fascinating mixture of technical perfection and dancing freedom to the dance floor. His dance style is clear, powerful and yet soft – a real experience that he passes on to his students with patience and humor.
Both inspire with their palpable passion, their keen eye for detail and a teaching style that both challenges and encourages. Despite their international success, they always remain approachable and likeable – people with whom you can not only dance, but also have a good laugh.
